Englefield Green After School Club
Englefield Green
About the setting
Our After School Club at Englefield Green Infant School was established in September 2004. We care for children aged 3 to 7 years from Englefield Green Infant School, aged 4 to 7 years from Trumps Green Infant School and Christchurch C of E Infant School in Virginia Water.
Operation Times
The club opens for business at 3pm. Children from Englefield Green Infant School are collected from their classrooms by a member of our staff. Children from our collection schools are picked up by minibus with a member of our staff and brought safely to the setting. The club offers two collection times for parents and/or carers at 5:30pm & 6:30pm.

Space and Environment
Our main play space is in the orchard room off of the school hall. The children also have use of the school hall, school library and outdoor play space which includes a sensory garden, large playground and field, and trim trail obstacle course.
Provision
Our aim at Englefield Green After School club is to create a stimulating and inclusive environment whilst learning through play. Our play curriculum includes zones such as sensory, creative, physical, imaginative and many more. We also offer assistance with reading and homework as well as creating ‘fun with phonics’ and ‘fun with maths’ stations to enable continuity and consistency of learning between us and the children’s base schools.
Parent access to the club
Visitors to The Gap Club are authorised to park in the school car park. Once parked, please walk down the path alongside the green wooden fencing. Down the path on the left-hand side of the building you will be greeted by the Gap Club Welcome Board. Parents and carers can alert staff of their arrival by pressing the ‘call’ button on the walkie talkie hanging from the Welcome Board.
